Our favorite cocoa recipe

Whether as a cozy start to the morning, an energy booster in between, or a calming end to a long day – with Calou, every moment becomes a mindful pleasure.

Here we'll show you how to prepare the perfect cup of Calou. It's very simple and straightforward.

You will need:

  • 2-3 tablespoons Calou Cocoa
  • 150-200 ml milk, milk alternative or water
  • Spices of your choice, e.g. cinnamon, cardamom, chili, vanilla
  • Optional: 1 tbsp sweetener of your choice, e.g. honey, coconut blossom sugar or agave syrup

Here's how:
1. Warm up your favorite liquid.
Use a saucepan or a milk frother. Be careful not to let the milk get too hot so that all the valuable nutrients are preserved.

2. Add 2-3 tbsp Calou cocoa .
Stir in the cocoa slowly until everything is well combined and no lumps are visible.

3. Add spices and sweetener to your taste.
If you prefer it a little sweeter, add a tablespoon of your preferred sweetener.

4. Enjoy.
Pour your Calou into a beautiful cup, sit in your favorite spot and let this special moment melt on your tongue.
